Epiphany

Mist, wind, and rain have travelled to these hills from distant places. The line that separates the heavens from the earth has almost disappeared. The firs keep pointing to the sky though there is no star.

    I love the suggestive pairings of word and image in these posts, Rosemary. But even as a heathen I want to say: there is a star! The firs know it!

    I think you're right, Lesley! In fact, after I posted it, I thought of changing it to "no star visible."
